In order to reach out to the flood victims of  typhoon Ondoy the Rotary Clubs of Iligan headed by Zone Chair President Arnold A. Garbanzos (of RC-Iligan) and President Elaine Songkit of the Inner Wheel Iligan (District 3870 and 3850 respectively) donated boxes of used clothing for them.   These donated items will be sent to the office of  District Governor Dulce Coyukiat of RC District 3780  for proper coordination and distribution.

As seen on the pictures President Garbanzos is with the staff of 2GO Iligan(which is also extending their services for free in transporting the donated goods).  2GO Iligan is manned ably by the following:  Faith Atenedo, Emmanuel Aguaviva, Ian Paculba and Jesette Chan. The donated goods were given by the following RC Iligan clubs:  RC-Iligan headed by President Garbanzos, RC-Downsouth headed by President Hassan Macadatar, RC-North headed by President Sonny de los Santos and ably assisted by PP George Hamoy, RC-Maria Cristina headed by President Neneng Navarro, RC-Iligan Bay headed by President Boboy Maramara and the newest club in the zone RC-Uptown headed by President Dulce Romano.

Also in another picture President Garbanzos is with the members of the Inner Wheel Club Iligan which has just been recently inducted.  The Inner Wheel club of Iligan is headed by Mrs. Elaine Q. Songkit, the better half of President Juel Songkit of RC-Iligan South. The turn over was done in Pioneer Insurance Iligan branch-headquarters of the Zone Chair, President Garbanzos.
