1971-72-We organized the Rotary Club of Iligan South

1974-75-We organized the Rotary Club of Iligan North

1986-87-We organized the Rotary Club of Metro-Iligan

We have produced two outstanding district governors-Pafs Mejia and Nestie Feliciano

We are the only club in the city with 30 Paul Harris Fellows (those who have contributed to the Rotary Foundation 1,000 dollars each) and have 18 sustaining members-one of the highest in the district

We are a non-smoking club and fun is the name of our game.

Every time we meet we have joke sessions, special topics for the week and we invite exciting and interesting guest speakers.

Our club includes the people who have made history for the city.

We welcome the tri-people of Iligan-Lumads, Christians and Muslims knowing that our progress as a city depends on the three living harmoniously

OUR VISION:

A club that is involved in uplifting the economic condition of our city, enterprising, caring, God fearing, creative and productive.  We do this by building relationships and fellowship among the tri-people of Iligan, Marawi and the Lanao provinces.

Our vision is also to create a new city of Iligan in its mountains.  With roughly 66,000 hectares open territory, (Iligan city proper is only 14,000 plus) Iligan has much to offer to investors worldwide.

Our dream is have a university in the mountains of Iligan and thus hasten its development.  This in essence is the purpose of our project called, “God bless the Mountains”.
